Beauty Box Burnout!

So, I really toyed with the idea of ordering a second Alex 9 drawer set from Ikea, to store additional makeup... However around the same time, I started to really take stock in the deluxe samples I had from beauty boxes. And saw this,

These two drawers are my "sample" drawers and they are full to the brim. Now these items are what is leftover after I gave away and donated unopened makeup to the local women's shelter. 

I realized that I was really needing to cut down on my beauty boxes to allow some time to accurately try the products that I have. So, for now, I have stopped my Birchbox and Ipsy because I simply do NOT have the room to keep housing these products. I will be keeping GLOSSYBOX because they give more FULL SIZED products than the other two, and I may be looking into subscribing to another beauty subscription that actually sends full size items. 

I can somehow justify a beauty subscription service that sends out full size items, over the ones sending the samples because I am "sampled" out! Lol!

Sephora VIB Rouge event

So, a couple of weeks ago, I received an invite to a VIB Rouge event at my local Sephora. 

They had a wonderful table of pastry like cakes, water, and staff handing out grape juice in plastic "champagne" cups. 

These events are something that I look forward to, not only for the free samples, but just to be in an element that I love and finding products I hope to love. 

Big ups to Sephora for attempting to do something to show their customer appreciation. I truly appreciate YOU! 

Long Time No See!!!! Or Write..... 😁

Hi everyone!! It has been about a year since I posted anything and life has been good and hectic. I took a bit of a hiatus with making videos due to some personal issues, ie there was a death in the family of the closest person I had to a mother,  and I did not take it well, but am getting out of my 'funk' slowly but surely. 

I also have been finishing up school and as of Feburary 2015, I will have earned my Masters degree!! But truth be told, I miss this blog and thank you who all added me to circles and stayed with me! 

I hope everyone has had a wonderful year now that it is almost over and I will be posting regular content that I also hope you enjoy!!
